  <dc:description xml:lang="eng">In this dissertation, the development and incorporation of numerical model of metamaterials into the Transmission Line-Matrix (TLM) mesh is presented. The Drude model is used to describe the frequency-dependent metamaterial properties and the bilinear Z-transform is applied to transfer this dependence in the discrete time-domain. Consequently, the numerical procedure for incorporation of the numerical model of metamaterials into the TLM mesh is obtained.</dc:description>
