  <dc:description xml:lang="eng">The research was conducted with the aim to establish the level of motor potential and level of body characteristics of cadet and junior Slovenian national team memebers, aged 13 to 16. Also, to determine the differences between three groups of male and three group of female judokas and their dependence to three weight categories. To determine relations between body characteristics and motor potential. The sample for this research was conducted of 330 subjects. Moter potential was determined with 10 parameters, and body characteristcs with three, including age. Results have shown that there are partial statistical difference of level of motor potential, and statistical difference of body characeteristics between subsamples. Motor potential and body characteristics showed partialy significant relations.</dc:description>
