This is why more and more innovations are being used to ensure, in addition to economic development, the preservation of environmental quality. In addition to transport and industry, agriculture is an important environmental factor. There are many studies in the literature dealing with the relationship between agricultural development and sustainable development, as well as the study of the economic and social role of innovation in this field. The paper aims to examine the relationships between innovation in agriculture and sustainable development, based on extensive scientific literature. The results of the research show that agriculture, such as organic agriculture, is one of the interesting solutions for maintaining the principles of sustainable development.
