    <ns1:description language="sr">Modernization of a scientific field in a certain country, in our case the legal and economic fields, is useful for the society as a whole. The issue of returning property to former owners, that is, to their legal heirs, has become particularly relevant with the adoption of the Law on Property Restitution and Compensation. Therefore, the dissertation will examine the legal and economic effects of this Law, which will further expand the knowledge (theoretical and applied) of the scientific discipline Economic Analysis of Law, as an area that connects these two major fields (law and economics). This can be seen as an additional affirmation of this already well-positioned scientific and teaching discipline in the Serbian scientific and educational space</ns1:description>
