The domestic policy issues are investigated, which are related to the battle for the imperial throne between members of the royal group (for example Constantine versus Maximian and Maxentius), or the battle between an Emperor and usurpers (for example, Constantius II versus Magnentius, or Theodosius I versus Magnus Maximus and Eugenius).
