o:3227 Analiza strategije obezbeđenja i unapređenja kvaliteta angažovanja studenata univerziteta u nišu Analysis of strategies for ensuring and improving the quality of student engagement at the university of niš sr Godišnjak za pedagogiju 10/2, 2025, str. 83-95 Though the advantages of applying pedagogical approaches aimed at students are widely propagated as examples of good practice at the faculties of many countries (gatherings, forums, conferences are organized), there are still doubts and concerns about their implementation at higher education institutions in Serbia. To see what procedures and to what extent student engagement is encouraged at certain higher education institutions of the University of Niš, their quality assurance and improvement strategies were analyzed. The importance of establishing a quality system of student engagement is recognized. In institutions covered by this research, only partial efforts on improvement in this area were recorded. There are different approaches and standards to provide students with better conditions and more diverse ways to use their potential, and it is necessary to work on development in this area. Finally, considering the circumstances of recent years, caused by the unfavorable epidemic situation as well as social circumstances, the future activities of the faculty should be directed towards the development of alternative plans for dealing with unforeseen circumstances.
